Don't give up on hope. The world was supposed to end today, according to an idiot who claimed he could see things in the Bible. And he can see things. Just not what is there. The idiot believed that the bible predicted that a rogue planet would hit Earth. This planet would be ten times Earth's size. Any such planet coming near to Earth would be noticed long before it got here. There would be, among other things, tidal changes. At some point, near the end, there would be an exchange of atmospheres. Anyway, all that was proven conclusively was that the idiot does not have special knowledge of the bible, or basic knowledge of science. A bit like any AGW believer.
God is real, just not in the way that the idiot imagines things. Miracles happen, and are profound and edifying. Not like the calamity of the end of the world, but sometimes in simple joys, like Tigers winning an AFL semi final against Sydney's Giants. Next week, Tigers take on Adelaide. They will need a miracle to win.
