IPA Review features a Georgina Downer article “In Defence of the British Nation State.” In order to bolster freedom, one needs sovereignty, and Britain in Europe has neither. Australia was only created after states discussed merging and the United Kingdom agreed. There has been no discussion whereby the United Kingdom has surrendered her will to Europeans. Brexit is healthy. It means Australia will have a peer with similar values. It means tremendous trade and security opportunities. However, politics can still play a fouling role. Labor governments do not tend to act for public interest. Agreements made by Labor governments in the near future are likely to mar bilateral relations. One thing Labor governments tend to do is to cede sovereignty for short term goals. As when Whitlam signed Australia up to human rights with the UN so as to impose UN regulations on Australia not sourced within Australian constitution. Or when UK migrated into European fiscal customs without discussion with her peoples.
Secret service had to interrupt a Trump meeting today when a Hillary supporter threatened to shoot him. The idiot was detained. Trump remained cool and calm the entire time. Remember that when it is time to vote on Tuesday.
Australia is poorly positioned to capitalise on a Trump Presidency with both the foreign affairs Minister Julie Bishop and the Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull talking out to personalise antipathy to Trump. One understands they prefer Hillary Clinton because they prefer working with corruption. They had insisted Abbott give over $10 million aid to the Clinton Foundation in 2014, and rolled Abbott after he stopped the payments. But neither Bishop nor Turnbull has explained how Australia will be better off with a corrupt Clinton as President, compared to a GOP backed Trump. Trump is not Reagan. Trump is very good at negotiations and knows how to run an executive team. Reagan was more reliant on insiders from GOP. Trump can deliver on promises better than Turnbull can. Turnbull has portrayed himself as being a good business executive. With Trump as President we will see a real one. Trump would never have put himself in the ridiculous position Turnbull has. All Turnbull can do now, constructively, is resign.
Meanwhile Trump’s progressive opponent is loved by the press and demonstrably corrupt. And the Libertarian candidate is trying to find Aleppo. Or a head of state.
Rumour now runs internationally that the apparent Saudi Spy who partners Hillary Clinton kept a life insurance policy of emails left in her ex husband’s computer. And the FBI found it. And so the insurance policy has been cashed in early. And the FBI investigating a witch on Halloween have found incriminating evidence on her familiar’s Weiner.
One person who knows how to profit from central planning is Hillary Clinton. The Chicago Tribune is withdrawing support from her, and suggesting that Democrats replace Hillary. But corrupt news, like the Tribune, knew everything now known about Hillary as they supported her days ago. Maybe they are only backing a tribe, but not a policy? And Maybe they want to find another crook. I note that press, who had accepted Hillary's corruption, are now denouncing her Saudi Spy Handler
Donald Trump's speech at Gettysburg is frightening media. They have supported and protected insider corruption for a long time. Trump will clean up the festering wound, and make America great again.
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowin' and blowin' up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancin' and prancin' in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air
What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go glidin' in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jinglin' feet
That's the jingle bell rock
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bell chime in jingle bell time
Dancin' and prancin' in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air
What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go glidin' in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jinglin' feet
That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle...

I'm a teacher with three decades experience teaching math to high school kids.I also work with first graders and kids in between first grade and high school. I know the legends of why Hypatia's dad is remembered through his contribution to Math theory. And I know the legend of why followers of Godel had thought he had disproved God's existence.
I'm not a preacher, but I am a Christian who has written over 28 books all of which include some reference to my faith. Twelve blog books on world history and current affairs, detailing world events , births and marriages on each day of the year, organised by month. Twelve books on the background to and history of Bible Quotes. One Bible quote per day for a year. An intro to a science fiction series I'm planning, post apocalyptic cyber punk. An autobiography with short story collections.
I'm known in Australia for my failure as a whistleblower over the negligence death of a school boy. ...
Back when Hillary was running for President, I re-wrote the lyrics to "Alice's Restaurant" and changed it to "Hillary's Restaurant". The refrain goes like this...
You'll believe anything you want
At Hillary's Restaurant
Walk right in, it's around the back
Keep your head low in case of sniper attack!
[That was a reference to Hillary making up a story about being under sniper attack at an airport in Bosnia.]
The rest of the song references her email servers, Vince Foster, the income tax, etc. @Garydubya ? on America's Untold Stories posted
I used that for prompts.
Hillary’s Restaurant
(Upbeat synth-pop bop, 128 BPM, glittery yet slightly ominous)
[Verse 1]
Neon sign flickers on a dead-end street
Past the alley where the secrets meet
No reservations, no cover charge
Just slide through the kitchen, try not to look too large
The waitress smiles with those shark-bright eyes
Says “Order anything, baby, truth is extra size”
[Pre-Chorus]
You can believe anything you ...
In the line of duty, Officer Nicola Cotton—a 24-year-old beacon of courage in the New Orleans Police Department—faced unimaginable danger head-on. Just eight weeks pregnant, she battled a suspect twice her size during a routine arrest on January 28, 2008, fighting for seven grueling minutes before tragedy struck. Her story isn't just a headline; it's a stark reminder of the heroism that shields our communities from chaos, from the streets of New Orleans to the riots tearing at the fabric of societies worldwide.
Take Action Today—Stand with Our Heroes:
Gather your band or congregation, crank up the amp, and let this song lift spirits—sing it loud in times of trial to remind everyone the Lord's Rock stands firm!
Oh, the river rose high, floodin' my weary path,
Winds of trouble howlin', unleashin' their wrath.
But thank You, Lord, for that Rock in the ragin' tide,
Holdin' me steady, with Your arms open wide. Through the valley of shadows, where doubts start to creep,
Adversity whisperin' lies in my sleep.
Yet Your salvation stands tall, unyielding and true,
Pullin' me from the depths, makin' me new. Wild weather battered, lightnin' strikin' the ground,
Thunder echoin' pain, no peace to be found.
But in Your mercy, Lord, the storm starts to break,
Rock of my refuge, for heaven's sweet sake. Now the dawn's breakin' gentle, paintin' the sky gold,
After the darkest hour, Your story unfolds.
Love everlasting, promises sealed in the flame,
Thank You for carryin' me, callin' my name. Oh, the burdens I...
